40 retail innovations N°5

In this book, I invite you to discover 40 businesses that, around the world, have brilliantly met this challenge: innovating to reinvent their customer experience.
For this 5th edition, I declare the boundaries between digital and physical definitively abolished.

HERE IS THE 5TH EDITION OF MY WORLD TOUR OF INNOVATIVE RETAIL CONCEPTS

The “post-covid” customer has the same expectations in both worlds and the new concepts have fully integrated it. You will discover through these pages, a bobo food court in New Mexico which offers horse parking for passing cowboys, autonomous mini-markets with a retro-futuristic look in Korea or eco-friendly in Germany. While in Australia, Aldi entrusts its stores to local graffiti artists, in Ireland, Lidl invents the museum store and in Ukraine, Silpo sets up its circus. The magic of retail is at work when “House of rituals” deploys 1500 m2 around “holistic well-being” or when a Korean cosmetics brand creates a cathedral of beauty with “cyberpunk” inspirations. This year Uniqlo sets up opposite Mount Fuji by offering a real leisure park, and the latest Apple store in Singapore is a floating dome… Amazon creates a hair salon while Netflix launches its fashion e-shop. I hope that these nuggets, sometimes surprising, can bring you a touch of exoticism that has been so inaccessible these days!
